In This Girl, Will tells the story of their complicated relationship from hispoint of view. Their future rests on how well they deal with the past in this final installment of the beloved Slammed series.”
Review- Just finished the trilogy :( I surprisingly enjoyed this book the most! I enjoyed The Point of Retreat more than Slammed but this one, This Girl, it was fantastic. I defiantly recommend picking it up (after reading the first two of course) because there are details Colleen Hoover surprises the reader with that are worth reading!
When I first began reading, I was a little put off with the constant back and forth but I quickly started enjoying it more and more. I enjoyed hearing the last two books from Will’s point of view. I got a bit annoyed with Layken in Slammed but seeing her through his point of view had me rooting for her in the end. And I thought the conclusion to the trilogy was perfect! I don’t wanna say too much other than it left me happy to see how their lives developed yet, it left me a little sad knowing it was the end to their story.
Not gonna lie, Hoover’s writing, especially the poetry, made me tear up a bit. She’s such an incredible writer. So over all, I give this series a 4.5! In case you’re wondering, I gave Slammed 4/5 and Point of Retreat 4/5!
